Links

The first link you may want to take a look at is to my earlier website:

www.therapeuticwriting.com

If you want to know more about the Blue Hills Writing Institute and Curry College then go to

www.curry.edu

A couple of other links may be beneficial.  One is Lisa Collazo's site:

http://writewhatyouknow.com since Lisa is a skilled practioner and counselor who uses writing in her treatments.

Take a good look, also, at Cathy Bennett's extraordinary site

www.artwalaroad.com

Cathy is a writer, an illustrator of many years' experience, and an impressively insightful teacher.  Watch her space and her blog! Her search for 'signs of art on the planet' is fun but never frivolous.  She asks important questions, such as: Where is the art that will feed our souls? Surely, there's plenty of so-called art that will bring us to a place of gloom and depression.  And that will benefit humanity....how, exactly? It's an excellent site and blog. And the art has real beauty.

She also has another site at www.deepdishart.com which is where she puts some exquisite art.

A really excellent site for those of you who are interested in writing, memoir, and fiction is www.suzannestrempekshea.com which is the site of - who else? - but Suzanne Strempek Shea.  She's certainly one of the wisest and gentlest souls I have been delighted to encounter for some time, and her writing makes my soul ache to read more.  My personal favorite of hers is Shelf Life.

I'll be adding other links as they become available.

Recent Articles

If you'd like to see more material on the Six Archetypes, then I can direct you to articles I've written for April's on-line magazine PlanetLightWorker (www.planetlightworker.com).

You may want to bookmark that page as PlanetLightWorker has just agreed to have me write a feature each month for the next few months.  I promise you the material will be good - and there will be a few sneak peaks at my new book, due out this Fall.

There's another article called Learning About Inner Balance from Literature in Balanced Life Magazine, April/May 2008.

Brand new from Suzanne Strempek Shea, her eighth book, giving us a guided tour of America's churches and what people do in them every Sunday.  Suzanne traveled for a year throughout this great country, and now she's reporting back.  What she has to say will surprise you!  At a time when the White House is increasingly using the rhetoric of religion, and when Americans insist on seeing fundamentalism as a specifically Islamic problem we'd do well to pay attention to what she has to relate - especially as she does so with such delicious good humor.  Oh, the joy of the well-turned phrase!
